The future home of Chillicothe Medical Clinic is located in Chadwick Plaza in north Chillicothe. The building is fully enclosed and work is being done inside with a completion date of this fall.
July 31, 2008 - Hedrick Medical Center will be moving Chillicothe Medical Clinic into a new building currently under construction at Chadwick Plaza this fall.
The clinic now is housed on the second floor of the doctors building adjacent to
HMC. An increasing patient load and a desire to expand the clinic’s physician base made the move necessary, according to Brian Johnston, the hospital’s chief executive officer.
Drs. Edna DeCastro, William Cox and Jack Lausterer, who currently see patients at the clinic, will be making the move to the new facility and another physician,
Dr. Greg Miller, is expected to join the clinic in summer 2009. Miller, who has family relation in the Chillicothe area, is completing his family practice residency in Columbia, Mo., and already has an employment agreement with the hospital.
The current clinic has 2,500 square-feet and the patient area will increase to 4,000 square-feet at the new facility. Johnston said the new building will provide the hospital with flexibility to recruit additional
physicians.
