Chillicothe muralist Kelly Poling works on his newest mural which is on the south side of Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery, 424 Locust Street. When completed, the mural will depict the history of arts and entertainment in Chillicothe. The west end has renderings of the Ritz Theater, with the Ben Bolt just to the east. The marquee on the Ben Bolt will give recognition to the longevity of the Chillicothe Area Arts Council. The mural also will include images of a gazebo at Elm Park with a band, a barbershop quartet, an old-time Chautauqua tent, Silver Moon Plaza, and park benches. There also will be interactive areas that will give visitors an opportunity to become part of the mural. This is downtown Chillicothe's 24th mural.
